    BEWARE OF FAKE JOB OFFERS

BEWARE OF FAKE JOB ADVERTISMENTS AND OFFERS

Digital platforms are increasingly helping connect job seekers – from informal workers to highly skilled professionals – to suitable job opportunities.

While these platforms offer many benefits to job seekers and recruiters alike, they have also opened the door to scammers who send out fake job offers.

Therefore, if you ever see a job advertisement or receive  a job offer that appears to be from Bapco, please take a minute to make sure it is genuine, by following our Top 5 tips for spotting fake job ads and offers.

  1. Jobs in Bapco are advertised only through Bapco official channels

At present, to view our job advertisements, please visit the following official pages:

  • Bapco Careers Portal:

    https://careers.bapco.net
  • Bapco’s LinkedIn Jobs:

    https://www.linkedin.com/company/bapcobahrain/jobs/
  1. Check Sender’s email address

Always check the Sender’s email address. If the email comes from a public email service such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc., then it is not an official email. Bapco recruiters will always communicate with you only through an official Bapco email address (e.g. @Bapco.net).

  1. No job offers are sent out without interviews

Applying online is just the first step in the job application process at Bapco. If our recruitment team contacts someone who has applied for a position, it is because that person is being considered for the second step in the recruitment process. Bapco will never send you a job offer without having an interview with you first.

  1. Bapco will never ask for any payment from job applicants

We never expect payment from any applicant – not for CVs submission, interviews, assessments, or any other step in the recruitment process. We invest a significant time and effort in finding the right talent and the only payback we are looking for is the success they help us to achieve.

  1. Be alert to the poor use of English

Please note that if the quality of English is very poor in the email communication that is sent on behalf of Bapco then this email was not written by one of our recruitment experts.

Please ensure that you follow these tips to beware of fake advertisements and offers to protect yourself and your surroundings from any malicious activities. Your safety matters to us so keep safe and wishing you all the best.
