Bahrain Polytechnic's Chief Executive Officer Visits Bapco
Bapco's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, received a delegation from Bahrain Polytechnic led by their Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ciarán Ó Catháin, and the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Resources & Quality, Mr. Osama AlSayed, on 29 March 2023, in the presence of several members of Bapco’s executive management and training and development officials.
A number of topics of mutual interest were shared during the meeting, and Dr. Ciarán Catháin gave a succinct overview of Bahrain Polytechnic's most recent technical training programmes.
Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery praised the visit and expressed his admiration for the high academic level attained by this prestigious education institution, which has led it to become a leading and exemplary provider of technical education and directly contribute to supplying Bahrain’s economy with highly skilled Bahraini graduates equipped with advanced degrees and training.
He further commended the possibility of utilizing the Bahrain Polytechnic's programs to train young employees who have recently joined the company and prepare them for the technical and professional qualifications needed by some of the company's specialized technical professions. Polytechnic today is in the top ranks of higher education institutions in Bahrain and the region and is a world-class provider of applied higher education.
He concluded by expressing his sincere gratitude to Dr. Ciarán Catháin and Mr. Osama AlSayed for their visit to the company and their interest in the company's youth gaining access to the institution's advanced programs. He praised the outstanding efforts made by Bahrain Polytechnic's administrators to keep the institution and its various programmes developing and modern.
